I just received an e-mail from Gabi saying that I got pardoned early. Thanks for everyone that spoke up for me - I owe you ----------- especially Anna who got the "free IRonMaN" petition going. I don't know if I am on probation or double secret probation, so please don't try getting me in trouble ------ my fingers are all bloody from using that file trying to cut through the jail bars and I don't want to do that again. Special note to @dascpa - we aren't Klingons here so nobody was getting my spot 😉

I'm honored to have been part of the protest. I'm not pleased it was necessary.
I'm happy to review any comments you want to make BEFORE you post them if you think it's necessary to keep you out of jail.
This place isn't the same when you are gone.

I was trying to think of who the best person would be to review my posts and the first name to pop into my head was Mr Fireball. He was always so level headed that I thought he would be a natural. However, if he isn't willing to come out of retirement, the job is yours if you are still interested. 😀
Glad your back, don't know who else would give us mind reading classes 😁
Qapla !
@IRonMaN I think you are right about Brother Cooley reviewing your posts. Now we just have to find his phone number. My best guess would be to call the fireball distributor in Illinois, as I am sure he would have Brother Cooley's phone number.😉
Welcome back IRonMaN.
There will be a lot of baby boomer tax prep folks retiring in the next few years. There does not appear to be enough Gen Z's coming into the tax prep business to fill these positions. Intuit should highly value the ProSeries software users that take the time to answer questions from other ProSeries software users on this board. Someday in the not-to-distant future the ProSeries helpers that Intuit is taking for granted will no longer be here.
Thanks, it's nice to be back thanks to all of the folks that spoke up for me. I was serious that if I was locked out for 30 days, I most likely would not come back. I admit that in the past I have had my fair share of bare knuckle brawls on here with trolls. However, in this case, I didn't raise my voice so I didn't really like the fact that I was kicked out without a jury of my peers making that decision. There aren't many folks left that have been around here as long as I have. Some of the early days group have retired, some have passed away, and some just got too pissed off with Intuit to stick around.
I admit that I am getting old, so I can say this and blame old age for it, but a large portion of the younger folks tend to be about themselves and helping other folks out isn't a top priority. Plus those younger folks were never taught the basics of how to manually crank through the numbers to really understand how a return really flows. They want to take a picture of something and have the software take it from there.
So with that said I'll be here for awhile, or at least until I collect 30,000 thumbs so that I can retire with a full Intuit thumb pension. But hopefully someone will get the cane and pull me out of here when I start answering questions with things like "alarm clock" when someone asks what line W-2s go on 😜
