Reject Efile - 2210

I have an E-filing Return Rejected for the new TCJA "85% Waiver" of penalties on Form 2210.  It asks for an explanation, but there already is one (the 85% waiver). Does anyone know a work-around?

I used override, but Ive seen some people that add a the statement for Box B have had luck getting accepted also.  I was done dinking around with it and just overrode the bogus checkbox

Under the b checkbox do you have an explanation statement attached?

It's actually line A and yes, the 85% waiver automatically populated.   The safe harbor was met with estimates and so this seems like a software glitch.

Got the same error.  Contacted Pro Series.  Waited forever.  TT Robert in tech support.  Told me they are short staffed.  IMAGINE BEING SHORT STAFFED DURING TAX SEASON.  Waste of time.  They know about it, and are trying to fix it.  Contacted the Office of the President, spoke to Brian.  No help.  I guess we need to wait for the fix OR tell the client that our software is awful and paper file it!  Imagine telling our clients that our software doesn't work.  If there is a fix, let me know.

An alert popped up saying the 2210 rejection will be fixed in an today's update.  But then again, sometimes it is more tempting to play Russian Roulette than running an update the way things are going lately :cold_sweat::cold_sweat:

Can you imagine going to a steak house, ordering your favorite steak medium well, the steak comes out barely cooked, you send it back.  The manager tells you "we will get to cooking your steak when we get to it but I don't know when you will get it back"  Yeah! That's the ticket.
