I've been waiting to print a ton of returns that have FED estimated vouchers. I come in this AM and run the update, and I'm still getting the "THIS FORM IS NOT FINAL" on the estimated vouchers.
Anyone else able to print them or still have trouble?
I still can't comprehend why this form isn't final and it's late February.
Form should be available today. Don't know time, as mine still shows not ready
Scheduled updates generally happen late Wed or early Thurs, today isnt over.
I've pushed 100% to pay online with an option for vouchers only if you request them. To date, not one client has asked for them. Even my 90 year olds - they ask their kids to do the online payment for them....
In my opinion, this is unacceptable customer service. It should have been top priority once the IRS settled on an address. It would be fine to send it to the old address except for the gray words saying "do not file" across the voucher.
I concur that is still 2/25/26; I'm waiting with bated breadth. I think there should have been more prioritization and communication on this particular matter as this form is used for almost every return in certain income levels. Having individuals pay their own estimates is ill advised as they can forget to pay them. I am keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Sorry, but these people are adults. It's not your job to babysit them. If you wish to offer the service of paying their taxes, that's great. I know they appreciate it. But if they forget to pay them, will they also forget to have the funds in the bank account on the withdrawal date?
When something goes wrong with the software, with Intuit, with the government agency and the payment doesn't come out, or come out timely - are you now responsible for the penalty and interest?
I've taken the position that I will prepare their taxes. I will advise on financial issues. I will advise on retirement and college funding and other items. If they can pay their rent or their mortgage, or any other bill, they can pay their own taxes. Again, my position. Everyone else can have a different opinion.
Hi, I'm on with ProSeries asking them to escalate this form for review to ensure that nothing has fallen through the cracks. I'm not disagreeing with your sentiment. However, as a community and as a CPA it is our job to help our clients.
If they don't update their site within February, I will also refer my clients to the below:
https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f1040es.pdf
However, I prefer to help ensure that its done seamlessly and accurately as their accountant.
Hopefully, I will have good news after escalation. The more we call and verify that their records are correct on what forms have been released by the IRS the better.
For me, I'm calling and asking for escalation. For you, your handling it by placing the work on the client. As of now, its on track for tonight uploading (have my fingers crossed)
Same here this makes no sense of why this form isn't ready. If they aren't going to release the form till late February then they should extend the April 15th deadline.
