e-signatures error

Hi! is anyone else having problems with esignatures on the taxpayer's end when trying to sign.

This only applies to joint filers. I requested an e-signature for them to sign. When they receive the email, when spouse tries to sign, it automatically signs taxpayers signature, it wont let spouse sign at all.

Do they have a separate email between the two or are you attempting to send the signature request to one email?

I am attempting to send the request to one email......do i add her email on the tax return that way the request will go to both?

They will need to have a different email per person. Otherwise the email will register as the taxpayer only and not the spouse.

Thank you so much! I got it to work. I added spouse's email on the tax return that worked.
