Yes, there are some bugs fixed after several updates since the terrible 25/26 was released.
However, the most serious issue has never been addressed and solved, even in today's 2.03.
No matter how many bugs you have fixed, with this extremely slow and laggy processing and loading time, it's still extremely frustrated for business.
Has any of you in the Intuit team actually tried and used your EasyACCT? Do you know we need to wait sometimes more than 20 minutes to have print review to be done, and 10 minutes to have transactions in "Enter Transactions" loaded when switching months?
It's Jan 12 today. Many of us is doing year-end reports. EasyACCT has caused a significant loss and waste of time to all those affected.
I have put the 2024/2025 onto my laptop, stand alone, and reinstalled the program, so I can at least get my 2025 reconciliations done and at least get my figures for my W2's and etc. I reinstalled my backup I had BEFORE I installed the disaster 2025-2026 program.
This might help some of you, it's a bit more work, but at least I can get something done for 2025.
Should I have known what would happen, i would never rush to update just for year-end reports. Since we have opened so many company files and entered an amount of transactions in the 25/26 version, it's impossible for us to revert back. Though about your method, but it could be another nightmare.
For those who have not done so like I did, reinstall the 24/25 version and copy only the files for tax table and forms from the 25/26 2.03. This is so far the only and best solution. So much better than the unstable, unreliable, and unresponsible official updates.
Just downloaded the latest update(2025.2.3) and now cannot access 4 databases. This is pure bulls##t. Been using this software since 2001 and this is the absolute worst I have ever encountered!! Need to start looking for new software not made by Intuit since they don't seem to care.
I do still have the bad software on my desktop computer, so I can do 2026 checks, payroll and etc. I am using both years, just on different computers, and keeping backups, so we can get some work done, its the 12th and have to have it all done by the 31st, oh boy!
Wondering if they are going to be able to fix the missing sales journals. After converting it wiped out all of the sales journals for several of my clients. Not looking forward to the hours it's going to take to get that information back in. So disappointed in the software and the response from Intuit on this. They just keep charging more and more and giving us a product filled with problems.
I feel like Intuit should be requiring the programmers to work 60, 70, 80 hours per week until this software is FIXED. And I mean ALL of it fixed. They are creating more work for us and increasing our workload so they should be doing the same. Where is the urgency from Intuit to correct these horrendous software problems? I was disgusted after downloading the 25-26 software in December and it would not let me do ANYTHING. I called Intuit and as soon as I told customer service the issue, she stated "yes, we know" and then tried to explain. I stopped her and told her that nothing she had to say would mean anything to me. I asked "Intuit KNEW that if I downloaded this software, it would lock up and Intuit did not inform ALL of EasyAcct users to WAIT and download later?" At that point, I decided it was time for a different software. What kind of a software company releases an update, FINDS OUT that it locks up and DOES NOT inform its users that there is a problem BEFORE those users have a screwed up system? Intuit does not care anything about its users. I have used this software since before Intuit bought them out. Today's update actually reversed some of the fixes that were in the update last week. WHAT IS GOING ON?!?!?
That is the biggest issue to us also, we cannot afford to have our employees sit around and wait the ridiculous times for loading and processing. THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED A.S.A.P.!!!!
What other software companies are you looking into? We are as well.
We are having the same issue. It appears to involve the General Ledger Posting Routing. For some reason in the new version of EasyAcct this routine is really bogging down when printing reports, entering transactions, or simply witching periods, even without making any entry or change. It takes several minutes when it used to be seconds-if that. Intuit needs to get this fixed. If it continues we'll lose hours of productivity time each month.
There are usually bugs in the early versions of the software but this is by far the worst roll out I have seen in several years. Seriously debating on switching back to the 2024/2025 version.
I also downloaded the 2.03 update and lost the General Ledger accounts on 4 clients.
