Has anyone else found that after converting a client over to 25/26 their sales transactions are gone? They've completely disappeared. This program is getting red
Exactly, noticed that right off the bat. No "SJ" entries anymore.
Just had a thought, I hope that all this mess is not going to affect Information Return.😬
We have been having this same issue. Although we have found the transactions are there, but they are in the year 2026. We have been on the phone with EasyACCT many times and are getting varied answers. First few people have told us an update will come to fix it, which has not happened yet. Yesterday we were on the phone with Catherine, and she gave us the solution to revert back to the backup before closing into 2026 and import the correct data for 2026. However, we got disconnected before walking us through the steps. We also do not understand why they expect us to fix the issue they created.
I've reverted back to the last backup before converting over to 25-26 and it does work however that back up was done on 12-19 so we would have two weeks of transactions to re-enter. I agree, we shouldn't have to bend over backwards to fix the data that they screwed up.
We have contemplated reverting back. Have you closed back into 2026 since reverting? We are afraid it will just keep messing it up.
As far as I can tell it works if you're on the latest EasyAcct version. What I did as a fail safe was I made a copy of my Backup file so I wouldn't corrupt the file if it didn't work. But depending on when you did the backup you may have to re-enter data to get up to date. I really think we should all get a credit or refund for the inconvenience and labor hours that we experienced because of the inability to sell us a working product.
I agree we should get a refund. We went ahead and restored the backup we had prior to the 2026 update, and everything was as it should be. However, it did the same issue of moving the sales journal entries to 2026 once we closed into 2026.
Interesting and so frustrating. Not to mention it runs so slow and it literally just crashed on me and closed out.
