If you are concerned about the deadline approaching, you could consider filing directly with FinCEN by signing up for an account. We file ours directly with them and haven't had any problem. The only downside is that it allows only discrete filing (unless you utilize a third-party solution) but it does all the validation before allowing a submission, so you should not get a rejection because of illegal characters.

We have been experiencing delays with FINCEN for some time and have communicated this information through both In-product alerts and posts here on our Community. Updates can be found here:

Unfortunately, delays with a tax agency are not entirely in our control. We are currently having intermittent issues connecting to their servers and retrieving acknowledgments. We have escalated this with Fincen and are we are actively troubleshooting the issue with them. As a workaround we manually are pulling what acknowledgments we can but it is a time consuming process.
We have no ETA on when these delays will be resolved.
