@Dham I require nearly all of my farm clients [qualified farm operator = 2/3 of gross income from farming] make a Jan 15th 4th quarter 1040ES payment of 2/3 of the expected tax that they will owe, or you can default to the previous year tax owed, whichever is lower. If you send in the tax estimate, then the filing deadline is April 15th instead of March 1st [March 3rd this year]. Intuit has had problems getting the final ProSeries tax software updated before March 1st in almost every year.
I know this does not help you this year, but I advise you to plan ahead in future years. Intuit is not likely to change their ways.
