Because the folks using Lacerte pay more for their software. By spending less for the software we have chosen to ride in the back of the bus, not the front seat. Or Lacerte has smarter programmers. Or someone at ProSeries didn't get the memo that the form was going to exist. Or it's Intuit --------- who can explain anything that they do?
Im done waiting for Intuit to have this form. For those with refunds hung up by this, Im completing by hand and attaching the PDF. Inputting a bogus 1099R (using the bank info from the original one) with the taxable amount in boxes 1 and 2.
Those with balances due, they can wait.
