Good afternoon!!!!
I never had this before, I got a customer with a wrong digit in the SS in the W2 and he want to file the return, can I submit with the correct information and let him know that he had to fix it with the employer or he has to fixed before I submit the return?

I've had this happen several times over the years - client receives W2 with a wrong digit in SS#..... I enter the W2 same as I would any W2. I tell client to report the incorrect SS# to the employer but I did not wait for that to happen before efiling. I've never had a return rejected.
