"Unable to read the data. Exit program and try again". I efiled extension so can't delete file. I'm stuck.

I created a new file because I couldn't enter the original one.  I now have two files for the same client, but I can't delete the bad one (the one I can't enter) because I efiled the extension on it.  Am I going to have to file a paper return?  Or can I just ignore what the home page is telling me and just go ahead and efile the new file?  I'm a 30 year+ user of Chipsoft/Turbotax/Proseries and this is a new one.  Thanks to anyone who can help.

Delete the "bad" file using Windows File Explorer, then run Homebase Database Maintenance to re-sync Homebase and get rid of it in the program.
