ProSeries support indicated the software will be updated to allow this, but Intuit is in communication with the IRS to get some specific guidelines before updating the software.  Check for updates at this link:  https://proconnect.intuit.com/community/proseries-news-and-updates/discussion/is-the-tax-deadline-de...

That's odd.  I think you are the first person to ask that.  Have you called support?

Everybody is having the issue.  There are posts every hour about it.  Either have them write a check or extend the return and then e-file with the later date.

Well, I did search the community before asking my question and nothing popped up.  So how was I to know?  A little kindness goes a long way. I wish you well for this filing season.
