I am unable to file because the software is not updating. I also can't get to the Tools to repair the program. Please help. And of course support is closed on a Sunday. When I locate the BasWin File there is no option to install the tools/repair function.
Also happening in Pro version. BUT the box opens up and doesn't ever progress any further than initializing connections step

If both programs not not updating and Professional starts to but can't get past the initializing step, I'm wondering if your computer security is blocking the updater. That happens to me every year when I first install the program (but my IT guy then whitelists it to allow it to work).
And just checking ... Have you rebooted the computer, then go to the Windows Start Menu (don't open ProSeries yet), then find the ProSeries Basic 2025 folder, and clicked "Repair Updates"?
It's funny you say that, because I was wondering if an update changed something in my security settings. I never had an issue and have been using for about a month now. I did restart but I will try the steps you mentioned!
