My client file is locked by ProSeries 2022 Network and I can't seem to find anyone at Intuit that knows how to unlock it. Has anyone else had this issue and had success with getting the file unlocked? I have tried to rename it and that does not work. Please help!
does it say Locked because its currently in use?
No. It's locked by ProSeries.
I hate playing 20 questions, so you cant open it at all, or you cant make changes to it?
Try highlighting the file in Homebase, then hit Tools > Lock/Unlock Client
I tried this as well.
I don't work with network installations at all, so thats all I got, sorry.

Do you backup (using PS not some other program) your client files on a regular basis ? If yes, can you restore the file.
