Federal , IL (resident) and MI (non-resident)

Hi to all, I filed Federal return, IL as resident ( they live in IL) and MI no-resident because of job location of wife, now I see MI 8453 does not have any information and numbers (getting refund part of withholding) and when I want to send E-Signature Proseries just make the Federal and IL E-Signature but nothing for MI so MI-8453 has no information. Yesterday I called 8 times to Proseries nobody knows.

Thanks for help

There is no signing form for MI.  Just have them sign federal form 8879 and that is sufficient. So it does not matter if blank as it is not needed.  Make sure refund amount is correct and move on to lunch time.

Yes , there is a form MI-8453 should be signed by client and I finally fixed it. Proseries call center were very unprofessional like last year unfortunately.

Weird because my MI-8453 says in bold letters "KEEP FOR YOUR RECORDS" and then later in middle of form "DO NOT MAIL TO STATE AUTHORITIES."  I assumed that you meant you did not have to mail in.
