EF Status not updating

Submitted returns 1/27 - showed success. EF Status still showing as "Ready to Transmit" as of 1/30. If try to transmit again, says its already been converted and transmitted. Is there an issue with the status updating? Need to know files were sent successfully.

May be stuck, try this: Efile Center > Highlight return > Efile > Elecontric Filing > Update Ackknowledgement Status of Selected Returns/Payments

Hi @Jim-from-Ohio, Thanks. I did try that and a few other refresh, update installed program, restart, etc. options and they are still showing as Ready to Transmit, but it also won't let me transmit again saying that I did that already.

Try selecting the convert and transmitt option under the efile tab, you may have selected convert only.

No, I selected convert and transmit under the E-file tab. Now, what I just did differently was efile right in the return in the File Electronically Tab. I got the same, green thumbs up, transmitted successfully window. But at least it didn't say already transmitted. And NOW the status finally changed from ready. So, must be a bug. Its as if me using the convert and transmit in the Efile tab - its not going anywhere. I have to do from within the return looks like. I always used the Efile dashboard. Thanks for help everyone.

Had the same issue filing through the EFile center.  Tried multiple times but never made it past the "Ready to Transmit" phase.  Went into return itself, clicked on the "File Electronically" button and that worked.  Definitely a bug in the software.
