Is there a standard letter to inform a client that their return's e-filing was accepted? I thought I saw it somewhere in the past, but don't see it now. Thanks in advance.

I send the Form 9325 that shows the IRS accepted it.

For years I've sent out a postcard informing the clients of Federal/State acceptance. Good ole "Vista Print". Clients appreciate the notification.
Obviously you can also do an email and save the money of a mailing.
Sending out Form 9325 only covers Federal and my clients will freak out and not understand another IRS form. But it does have some good info on the form about refund status, tax payments, etc.

Every once in awhile I have a client call and say "What am I supposed to do with this?" LOL
For my more clueless clients I write FOR YOUR RECORDS across the top.
