Good afternoon,
I just had a very well-known client tell me that the local Secretary of State extended the deadline to update her driver's license due to Covid and staffing. Has anyone else had this happen? I looked in IRS alerts but couldn't find any notifications on how to update in the system.
Thank you,
Dawn

They did that in MD for all licenses-drivers as well as professional. Extended until xx days after the end of the COVID emergency. We are still in the emergency.
I just put a fake expiration date in - about two months after when I'm filing.

Thank you! It seems reasonable with Covid and all but I didn't want to trigger any sort of rejection.
Have a wonderful day,
Dawn
