Our hard drive failed. During the restoration process, we learned that the DMS data table (.dat) file is damaged. Error code 12036. Our IT backup company does not have a copy of the .dat file.
We have called support for 4 business days now to be told that we will have a call back within 24-48 hours.
We have spoken to tech support, who again says someone will call us back.
There has been no phone calls back. Our IT company has called and emailed for 4 days with no response.
Does anyone know of a way to have support/programming call us?
Has anyone else had this problem? DB repair did not work. Importing the data back to the program only brought in data through 2016. 2017 to 2020 did not import.

Does your IT have a backup of the dms folder? e.g. C:\dms That should have everything that you need. Just copy that back to your primary drive and hopefully it will have most of your data.
Your question here is to other users. We only wish we had a way to encourage support to call us back.
Data is there but encryption table is damaged. So far all attempts to import data have been to no avail. Apparently IT company was not backing up .dat files. This was contrary to our contract that all info on hard drive was to be backed up every night.
They said they do not back up dat files because they are constantly changing and the programs generally rebuild them like outlook. This is not the right answer but how would we have known.
Our problem is that this is a reputable regional firm.
