Daily Complaint - Biz Extensions

Filing 42 biz extensions for one client with lots of commercial real estate entities.  Cannot e-file MD, NY, NYC unless you correct almost every error in the return, which if we don't have info, is a zillion.  It's just a -0- extension.  MD even needs 8825 other expenses every line filled in (even with a -0-) for it to go through.  NY has tons of entries that when I go to prepare the actual returns I'll have to remember to undo the entries for stuff to transfer from Federal.  It should be a 2-minute extension but it's not.  Easier to go to state website and file that way without all this B.S. from P.S.

Intuit has perfected ways to make simple things extremely difficult.

Extensions should be able to be filed regardless of any so-called errors in the actual return. It is just an extension.  They need to correct this.

I complained for years about NY extensions but finally gave up trying.

Also annoying is the need for email address on NY business returns.  Its not a NY requirement and some people don't have email.   I use none@none.com
