HI everyone,
Now I realize that I am missing a few clients from last year that didn't transfer correctly.
Does anyone have a customer support phone number handy?
Thank you!
Correctly or not at all?
If they didnt transfer correctly, just delete them and retransfer, you may want to update your 2023 program prior to re-transferring, there were a few transfer glitches earlier this season when 2023 hadnt been updated recently.
If they didnt transfer at all, open 2023 and verify the file name, then when you open the transfer window in 2024, look for those file names. Be sure it wasnt a paper filed return in 2023, it wont appear in the EF Center when you transfer to 2024, Ive done this a few times and thought the return didnt get transferred over.
Hi there,
I will try but I am abysmal when it comes to this stuff, and had hoped someone would be available at support to walk me through. Is support no longer offered at all?
Thank you for the advice.
I havent had to call them in many many years, but I think the phone number is still the same 800-434-6818, from what Ive seen from others that call for support, some representatives arent worth what theyre being paid, but you may get lucky and get a good one!
Whats the issue youre having with some files?
HI again,
I simply do not know how/why the transfer from 2023-2024 missed a few clients.
That number did work, and someone was able to assist.
Thanks so much!
Dawn
@SensibleandHourly Intuit Customer Support solved your issue? Wonderful news.
They sure did. 😉
That does raise their batting average. I believe that it is something like 4 for 123,972 so it's an improvement but I don't think they will be getting called up by the majors quite yet.
I've had a few good calls actually. Must be lucky.
P.s. Love your support for Ukraine.
"P.s. Love your support for Ukraine"
I have always pulled for the underdog. Actually, I have expanded my support. I ordered a Ukrainian flag last week to fly at home. But I also did buy a Canadian flag at the same time ----------- I have to butter up the Canadians just in case they do decide to add Minnesota as a province. 😀
