Client Refund

     Does anyone else know of any other resources besides" Where's My Refund" and the 800 number to find out where a client's refund is? I mailed in a return for a deceased taxpayer with a 1310 on 8/27/2025 and the client claiming the refund has not gotten a letter and the IRS website tells her to call the number. I realize that's a long shot but just thought maybe someone else knows something I don't.

This is not unusual for a return with a 1310. It has not even been 6 months yet. I've seen it take a year or two to get the refund.

and we had a government shutdown during this 4 month period too, so its probably still sitting buried on someone's desk right now.
