Changing printer status from pdf to my printer

I am trying to print a return and ProSeries Basic 2024 has pdf as the default print option,  I want to change this to my printer.

It may be the same in Basic but in Professional: File > Print Options > Printer, PDF, and DMS Setup > Change > Select default printer > OK

I only have a copy of Basic for 2022, but I dont see any Printer setting Options anywhere like Professional gives us, have you checked in your Windows Printer settlings and make sure youve got a Default Printer chosen?

Ahhh you have to be outside a client file to get any printer options.

Interesting ... I've never changed printers that way in Basic.  😂

On the main print tab/screen, there are several sub-tabs.  One of those sub-tabs are Print Options where you can change the printer.

In Windows Settings, Devices, Printers, turn off for "Let Windows manage my printer." You want the software to be where you control printing.
