The form 8962 is not in use until I enter $1 in column C but this increases my clients taxes by $1. Has anyone found a work around this?

@parvitstax I think there have been many 8962 posts on this forum - try searching for it and maybe answer will be there.

You can open Form 8962 and save the file as a pdf and attach it to the return as an attachment.

Does it keep getting rejected when you EF it?  If no PTC is involved, Im not sure the 8962 matters.

Without Form 8962 the return continued to be rejected.

After I searched and opened Form 8962 and then manually saved it as a PDF. I attached it to the return and selected for Type "ACA Explanation". 8962_expl.png

You must also add the ACA Explanation form and I just stated that the 8962 is not required. After these 2 steps the return was successfully accepted.
