1095-A Covered vs Recipient

Filing taxes for a client that shows as ONE out of 3 other individuals under "covered individual" on form 1095-A.  The recipient on this form is not my client, is another family member.   How do I report on Proseries that my client had Obamacare coverage during 2024, yet the coverage was for 4 different individuals and he is not the main one

The recipient does not matter.

If your client is not a dependent, you will need to enter the 1095-A on his tax return and fill out the allocation section.

If you are not sure how to allocate, it depends on the situation.  You can start reading on page 17 of the Instructions for Form 8962 to see which of the 4 Allocation Situations apply, then read the details of that situation.
