Pro Series 2021 will not connect to internet to update software even though I have strong signal and am able to connect to internet for anything else. Have replaced the modem with Xfinity and removed the extra layer of security. It appears that Pro Series is looking for msiexec.exe but can't find it on my new computer. Have talked with Microsoft, Intuit and HP and nobody can seem to fix my issue. I'm at a lost cause it's tax season and I can't do taxes without the ability to update the software. My old computer purchased in 2016 is working fine with Pro series 2021. Wanted to use my new HP just purchased in November cause it's faster. Both are in the same office. Why does the old work but not the new? New computer wouldn't even connect to glance.intuit.com so that support could sign on to my computer to look. Where do I go from here? I need some serious help!

Updates are run automatically through the program this year. Are you sure you aren't getting updates?
Have you restarted your modem yet?
Top menu bar Information > Logs > Updates Log see if theyre downloading in the background like therye supposed to.
We just installed the new modem and I'm still having the problem. On my old computer, I saw the updates come through and there has to be a lot out there cause I have the CD which I received in November 2021.
Just checked and under update logs it says there are no items to view in this log. I also just went under Help and selected SmartLook and the response was please check your internet connection. Obviously my internet is working.
I have the CD for installation so I use to receive a notice to update the forms especially when I was getting ready to efile a form. There were numerous updates to the CD but unable to have them come through to my computer through the internet.
