LOCK/UNLOCK

I am unable to UNLOCK clients in my ProSeries 2018. It tells me to select a client. Duh. Please tell me know before I ever Lock another client. Please. Thanks,

Are you getting the message that the file is locked by another user?

no. and I have unlocked clients in the past. This just started recently.
