Why doesn't the self-employed health insurance get deducted under the QBI (Section E Line 6a) when entered as a 1095-A and linked to the activity on the 1095-A worksheet?

The Schedule C Qualified Business Income Deduction Info Section Worksheet on the Schedule C. If you enter the self employed health insurance on the Schedule C itself, the amount is populated on the Worksheet. The QBI then moves through the rest of the return and doesn't get reduced.

It is a 'bug'.

Until they fix it, you need to manually enter the Self Employed Health Insurance deduction (Line 29 of Schedule 1) in the QBI section on the bottom of Schedule C.
