If I select Domestic General Partnership on the Federal Tax return, why does the California Form generate CA Form 568 instead of CA Form 565?

If I select Domestic General Partnership on the Federal Tax return, why does the California Form generate CA Form 568 instead of CA Form 565?  Past returns used form 565, but this year the CA State forms imports Form 568.

You must have chosen the CA LLC by mistake when you switched over to the state.

Go to File > Remove City/State and remove the 568, then when you go to switch to the state again, be sure to choose the 565.

If its popping over to the 568 without giving you  choice, you may not have the 565 chosen in your Download Products list.

I removed the state and started over, and the only form that populated was the 568. I then went into the download new forms and found I had only downloaded the 1065 LLC for CA and not the 1065, which should be for the partnership.  I am working on that now, so hopefully it solves the issue.
