We just migrated our entire company to print via an active directory shared printer, rather than printing directly to the printer.
This is working well for everyone except our VP of finance, who is only having trouble with Fixed Asset Manager. When the new printer is selected as her default printer, the program will not properly display it's "Print" page. Instead it complains that the printer driver is invalid.
I've tried selecting a different printer from the drop-down list is Fixed Asset Manager but the problem persists. If the system default printer is the active directory hosted printer (a Canon IR-C3525) then the Print option fails.
We have verified the correct driver is installed with the printer vendor and all other printer functions work without issue when printing from other software.
This is preventing any printing from within Fixed asset manager and is a critical issue for us.

QuickBooks FAM does not recognize long printer names. Shorten your default printer name and restart FAM.
