I receive an error code when attempting to schedule an electronic funds withdrawal date of May 17, 2021 for a balance owed with the federal return. If I override the error code to e-file will the withdrawal date of May 17th be accepted or will the return be rejected. Further, if the return is accepted will the withdrawal date of May 17, 2021 be honored. Finally, is ProSeries fixing this error code anytime soon.

IRS has to make the change in their systems to accept the later date...when they did this last year, it took a couple weeks..Intuit should follow shortly thereafter.
So either hold off on filing that return, or have the client make different payment arrangements.
