Does the software have the ability to turn off the watermark for ES payments. This is a waste when I print the "Client" copy. If its on there they get confused.

When I print the "Client" return with the watermark "Client Copy-Do not Mail" this also prints on ES payments..which stinks because in order for it not to print I have to print in 2 different sections to eliminate that just to get the ES coupons not to say that.  Would be nice, like the "mask sensitive data" option doesnt mask certain forms.  If that option was available for these forms with the watermark would be nice and less hassle.

Me three.  I print one copy of the filing copy of the return.  After it has been reviewed, the return is copied with the client getting the copy and the original staying with me.  To be honest, if I didn't have to give a copy of the return to the client, I wouldn't.  After doing this gig for the last 120 years, it seems like nobody is ever able to hold on to their returns because I am always getting calls or e-mails a couple of months later wondering if they can get a copy of their return.  I don't know what the scoop is.  I don't know if there is some alternative universe where there is a pile of tax returns sitting next to the missing sock from their laundry or if aliens are collecting this stuff.

I only print the filing copy as well, no watermarks on anything.   The clients copy of the filing copy get stapled in a booklet, it been a couple decades (back when we only had paper filing) that someone has tried to rip the pages from the booklet to mail them in, so a watermark on the clients copy doesn't seem necessary.

I set the print options to only print the 1040ES coupons with 'preparer copy'... (which I don't have watermarked)… yeah... i know...but I still DO print a hard copy for my files--old school.  I don't print a government copy at all... just the Taxpayer copy (which is watermarked) and mine... and like I said have the 1040ES selected to NEVER PRINT in the Taxpayer Copy.

So I just pull the 1040ES coupons out of my forms and move over with the Taxpayer copy.

I don't print a 'government copy' at all.

I am not sure how PS set up is, but I include ES with the government copy. I do not include them in the client copy.
