Copying 2023 client files to flash (E) drive

First time ever I'm unable to copy files to a flash drive in File Maintenance.

Error message says..You can't copy, move, or name a file to itself.

Anyone else having this issue? Thanks.

Just do it like you would copy any other file . I go to "This PC" within windows (windows 11) and navigate to the directory and files I wish to copy, 

Shift {down arrow} to highlight the range of files to copy

ctrl c to copy

navigate to the thumb drive

ctrl v to paste

viola!

I know that awhile back I would sometimes have issues with copying multiple files at once.  Single files were fine, multiples were a no can do.  If nothing else, you could just copy them from the ProSeries data file on your hard drive.

I copied from pro data file then transferred to usb but it opens up  pro series to view?  What did I do incorrectly?  Client file maintenance is blank to copy or backup
