e-file amended CA 568

How do I e-file an amended CA Form 568 in ProConnect? I'm amending the federal and CA state returns. I've marked the CA Form 568 as amended, but there doesn't seem to be a way to e-file the amended 568 in the e-file screen for amendments.

Hi, in addition to the completion of the Amended Return screen, you will need to enable the amended return on the Profile screen as shown in the attached screenshot.  If you continue to have issues, please give our support teams a call: https://accountants.intuit.com/support/en-us/help-article/intuit-account-settings/contact-proconnect...

This does not trigger an e-filing option for an amendment for a CA LLC. It only triggers for e-filing CA state.These are 2 separate filings.

Please also make sure on the CA Single Member LLC screen you have checked the box for "Amended Return" and that on the File Return screen you are going to "E-file Amendment" on the left-hand side.  There will not be an additional form generated.  Form 568 will generate as shown as in this screenshot when you view the form with Amended Return indicated.  If you are still having issues, please contact ProConnect Support as our office is open today.

Did you find a way to file the Amended 568? I need to only file an amended 568 to mark it as final and can not find a way for Proconnect to show the 568 as an option on the amended screen.

To file an amended CA SMLLC inside ProConnect Individual Module follow these steps to generate the form:

1. State & Local

2. Taxes

3. California SMLLC

4. Check the box for Amended Return, if applicable, check the box for Final Return

5. If final return, enter the explantion for final return

6. Check Return screen

7. Forms

8. CA

9. Form 568 (you will see it now set to amended return and final return (if selected)

10. File Return screen

11. Partial Print to PDF to print Amended Form 568

You can also trigger the form from inside the Partnership module as well.  The CA Amended LLC can not be efiled through ProConnect at this time.  If you look under other forms on this link, it tells you which amended returns for LLC's that can be filed through the program.  ProConnect Tax E-file Agency Approvals.
