the web page is not acknowledging that i have submitted the application but not telling what the issue is.

i do have the EFIN but not clear on the process of migrating or using with different intuit offerings. they are closed on the weekends hence i’m here as per “the agent”. i do remember seeing a box for 30-day e-file pass while the application is pending but my experience is that the customer service cannot always help.
a kind of limbo, atm.

Hi @stopthis Great to see you in the Community and thanks for for posting about the EFIN not enrolled. Support is open today from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Pacific Time. Check out the link above that @George4Tacks shared, it will give Tax Season hours and the contact number.
don’t remember which button i clicked but was steered here from the ai chat window after being told it was a Monday through Friday type of support.
do you have a link that would take me to live human and not send on a wild goose chase?

Hi Greg, Nice to meet you and thanks for letting us know about being told we are open Monday-Friday. This is usually the case, but because of Tax Season we are open additional days and have extended hours. We will check into this. Here is the Support Article, you would be able to use the Digital Assistant or call support. The Digital Asistant does say that you can chat with support. We would recommend putting in chat with support when using the Digital Assistant to get to live support.
Not sure what 24/7 here means but here are the support hours on Sunday or one day before the gates open:

talked to a human and together we figured out that i need the so-called tracking number from here: https://la.www4.irs.gov/esrv/esam/pages/landingPage.xhtml the application status is now 'Submitted' and was told the turnaround here is 24-28 hours.

Given that today is e-file open date, our teams normally try to push EFINS through. My advice would be to continue checking in ProConnect on the Firm Administration page throughout the day for your EFIN to go live. You can also contact our support team to have us check the application status for you.
