Anyone have experience with Tax Return conversion from UltraTaxCS (Vitrual Office CS) to ProConnect?

We are attempting to convert our 2024 tax returns to ProConnect from UltraTaxCS (Virtual Office CS). The process was successful for a handful of 2023 returns we converted in October, but fails every time for the 2024 attempts. We follow the guide instructions perfectly, every time resulting in the failure error message "The data conversion did not recognize the files sent. Please contact care for further assistance."

Customer care has spent hours with me on multiple calls including two "backend manual conversions" that fail each time. Although polite and they try to be helpful, they have no idea how to help with this situation and will not allow me to speak with a the mysterious "backend team". After each failed attempt, they respond with "Glad we can help you resolve your issue." 

It seems the issue is likely with the CltList.WT4 file. I have tried every configuration imaginable for downloading the backup return files and the CltList.WT4 file. Even when attempting the conversion with just one return...all attempts have failed.

By chance, anyone else run into this conversion issue over the last month since the 2025 returns were released?

Hi, when there is an issue with the CltList.W4 file our system can't convert UltraTax files.  Given that you stated we have attempted manual conversions for you with our team doing the process, I would recommend contacting UltraTax for assistance with getting that file where you can just paste into the required ConversionData folder.
