Lost Data

I recently lost all of my Tax Client Data due to a Bit Locker Error.  Two Questions:

1) Does Lacerte offer a method to retrieve my data?

2) Can I have my prior processed clients unlocked for REP Access?

Lacerte can not retrieve your data. Only you can retrieve those daily (or multiple time a day) backup files you made.

If your need to REP again, there should not be any duplicate charge if the key items match up. I think they are client number, name and SSN.  https://proconnect.intuit.com/community/help-articles/help/avoiding-duplicate-rep-charges/00/5609

Don't buy a lottery ticket today, but you might want to consider spending a few bucks on Carbonite to backup your system in the future.  You are out of luck if you didn't have some kind of backup for those files.
