I e-filed a client, but got a validation error due to upgrade needed. I upgraded then re-submitted the return, forgetting that the State (WI) had been processed ok. Now I get the following notification:
Failed transmission on March 12, 2021
Validation Failure: Error 10: The submission is a duplicate of one that was previously received.
Resolution: Please contact customer support.
I logged into my account and searched e-file status, it doesnt appear it was filed to the State.
How do I clear out the error message to allow me to resubmit?

IF you want to live dangerously, this MIGHT work:
E-File (top menu bar) > down to e-file support tools > Clear return > return.
I'm not recommending this, as I've only done it occasionally over the years and I'm not exactly sure what it did/does.
Depending on the return is question... it may be best to make a pot of coffee than call customer support.
