It is happen again.
all my payroll data is gone. i cant access my company.
Common Easy do some thing.
Happened to one directory of our clients yesterday too. After a terrible call to support, where I was told it was my network's fault (suggested to get my IT to look at it) and "educated on keeping my program updated" ( I mentioned we were afraid of updates for a good reason) all they suggested was to restore a backup. It was working fine in the morning then all the sudden several client files lost banking and payroll and we could not add a bank account. Nothing changed in that time... we didn't update anything, the error was out of the blue. What a gut punch. Yes ...this has all reduced a grown woman to tears. After a rough tax season we figured out many work arounds, now there are a few clients we have to redo for a 3rd time or 4th... I've lost count.
This error unable to access company needs to be fixed immediately. There is positively no reason whatsoever for this to ever happen. It has corrupted the entire database.
yes, i have the same issue, and have to redo all the payroll from 1.2026 until 3.2026 for the 941 report.
i already emailed and talked to them. they blamed on my network issue, then I change certain of clients to the local machine. and this is still happen. then i reported to them, and they blamed my Easyacct was not at the current version, and caused this issue happen.
Now, i updated the easyacct to the current version for 941 report. and this still happen to me.
Basically the same conversation here. Then she said I threatened to sue them in the convo... I did not say anything like that,! I was almost in tears trying not to have to redo everything. She said it was recorded and I asked for the recording because I know I didn't say that and she said no and no to a supervisor. It's like I'm on another planet. I never said any of that!!! She had to put me on hold to gather her composure. I've done business with Easyacct from inception, I love the program I need it to work. This has been mind-blowing... from what is happening to the program... to the conversations we've had with them. It's our livelihood, I thought the problems had leveled off---then yesterday was such a gut punch. What could have happened if we didn't update and some of us had the exact same thing happen yesterday???? Does anyone have a good IT person who can help us? I understand there would be fees but I'm at a loss. We just need help.
