EASYACCT software

Have any of the updates fixed the slow processing speeds?  I refuse to update any further than what I have done until I start seeing people say that some of the problems have been fixed.  For those that are interested, Sage was decently affordable.  I have talked with them a couple of times.  I was hoping to see a solution before I made a decision to change.

I updated to #6 and I think it made the lag in processing time WORSE.  It also did something weird to my payroll (as in missing payrolls) so I can no longer print W-2s or quarterly taxes until this gets sorted out.  I wish I had stayed on #5.  I was printing my 940s to mail in.  It was a pain, but at least everything else was correct for W-2s.

Good to know about Sage.  I will be talking to them, soon.

Been waiting more than 30 minutes just for a SUTA quick file to generate. It wasn't slow in previous versions while everything else was. Now what were slow are fixed, not much though, but what were normal become slow.

Each new update for the 2025/2026 version has made the program slower for us. It took us half the day a few days ago to prepare and print 941s for just 15 clients, and we still got a lot more to go.

They are supposed to release a new update today to address the performance issues, but I wouldn't bank on them to have it completely fixed any time soon considering how bad they fumbled the other updates. Sage is another program we use for some of our other clients, and while it has its own quirks and issues, they are far better at maintaining their software and fixing issues in a timely manner.
