Moderator Attention Requested — 2025/2026 EasyAcct (New Annual Version) Bank Reconciliation Data Not Carrying Forward

Alicante06
Level 2

The 2025/2026 EasyAcct release is a new annual product purchase (not a routine update). After installing it to replace 2024/2025, the bank reconciliation screen appears but prior-year data does not carry forward, including:

  • Outstanding/unreconciled checks and deposits
  • Uncleared transactions
  • Current-period cleared items

This makes the bank reconciliation incomplete and inaccurate, effectively blocking use.

The issue was reported on 12/12/25. Support has advised that it is not yet resolved and that users must wait for an email notification once a fix is available. No workaround or ETA has been provided.

If other users are experiencing this same carryforward issue, please confirm here. Given that this affects a newly purchased annual version and core functionality, prompt attention is critical.

Thank you.

Hi @Alicante06 Thank you for posting in the Community and for sharing these detailed observations regarding the Bank Reconciliation data not carrying forward in the 2025/2026 EasyAcct version.

We understand how important this functionality is, and we recognize the impact it has on your workflow. Our development team is aware of the the concern and is actively working to resolve it as quickly as possible. At this time, we do not have an estimated release date for an update to the program.  What we can confirm is that you will receive a follow-up notification once additional information becomes available.

We appreciate your patience as we continue our investigation, and we will update this thread as soon as we have more to share.

Hello @Alicante06 ,

There is a new release of EasyACCT now available – Version 2025.1.10.

This release includes the following items below:

  • GL report is showing incorrect information from sales Journals
  • EasyACCT Client transfer does not give an option to transfer in payroll transactions
  • EasyAcct is sorting by the first number on Employees, and Vendors

We know this release does not cover all concerns that have been raised, but we wanted to keep you updated on the progress being made. We will continue to share updates as more become available.

Thank you!

Kathi

Thank you for the update and for confirming the development team is aware of the bank reconciliation carryforward issue.

I appreciate the notice regarding the 2025.1.10 release. However, for clarity and visibility in this thread, that release does not resolve the issue being discussed here - specifically, the failure of prior-year bank reconciliation data (outstanding checks and deposits, uncleared items, and current-period cleared transactions) to carry forward into the 2025/2026 version.

As of now, the bank reconciliation remains incomplete and inaccurate, which means the software is not usable for bank reconciliation. Given that the 2025/2026 version is a required new annual purchase to continue using EasyAcct, this represents a blocking defect for core daily accounting work.

If other users are experiencing this same issue in the 2025/2026 version, please reply here to confirm. Additional confirmation may help ensure appropriate prioritization and visibility of this defect.

While I understand an exact release date may not yet be available, any added transparency regarding prioritization, escalation status, or whether this fix is targeted for an upcoming release would be very helpful for planning purposes.

Please continue to keep this thread updated with meaningful progress. Timely resolution of this issue is critical.

Thank you.

I have not yet downloaded the new EasyAcct 2025/2026 Software. I was in the middle of a new server installation and then became aware of the problems with the new version of EasyAcct. I called EasyAcct and was told to wait until the end of the year to download the new year program, but I am getting very concerned about the problems I am reading about. I usually do the W-2's and 941's for clients at the beginning of the year.

Does anyone know if the 2025 Information system is okay. I could try to transfer the payroll data from EastyAcct to the 2025 Information system to file the 941's and the W-2's., but I am not sure if that also has problems.

Everyone who has paid for the EasyAcct 2025/2026 version expect the fixes should have been a priority for Intuit and should have been resolved by now.

Hi @Alicante06

Thank you for the feedback. At this time, we do not have an estimated timeline or confirmed escalation details that we can share. Development is aware and is actively working to resolve it.

We do recognize that this concern was not resolved in the prior release or in this one. We want to share release information here to ensure that anyone following this thread, or finding it later, has visibility into what has been fixed versus what is still outstanding. We understand that this does not address the core concern being raised; however, we want to continue keeping you updated.

Below is what is included in the newly released EasyACCT Version 2025.2.01. (Hosted users: this release will be available this weekend.)

This release includes the following:

  • 2026 Tax Tables and Form W-2
  • Enter Transaction screen issue where the amount disappears when tabbing through to the Open Manual Payroll Entry screen from the Reference cell
  • A/P invoice dated on the first or last day of the month not appearing on the AP GL Distribution report
  • Ability to delete employees from the Employee Information screen
  • Earnings Report filter excluding valid employees
  • Bank Reconciliation showing the period in the Payee/Description field
  • New Vendor Account Number not being saved or displayed in the Transaction Data screen when created via the transaction entry flow
  • Automatic invoices not calculating
  • A/P automatic invoices not generating and displaying an error message
  • Earnings record and Employee Information not matching the Payroll Journal

Thank you again for your patience and for continuing to raise these concerns. We understand how disruptive this has been and appreciate you continuing to engage while we work toward a resolution.

We received a call this morning about the 2026 tax tables. It would appear that they were not included with 2.01 release. When trying to run payroll today, my users are receiving errors that the tax table must be created. When checking in system utilities, only up to 2025 have been created.

Do we know when any of these items are going to be fixed?

General ledgers incorrect or get an error 0

**bleep** GL's wont post

sales journals from 2025 are missing and under 2026

bank reconciliations deleting all previous outstanding transactions

the program is slow and takes forever to post

Payroll journal when trying to print for 1 specific employee will not print

printing gl, **bleep** gl and p&l are all different

printing/posting on some clients takes well over 30 minutes per month

there are so many errors, we are having difficulty trying to provide our clients anything that is reliable even after having to re-do months of work.

I have used this program for well over 20 years and I have never experienced as many errors as we have this year.   Please let us know when you expect this program to function properly.

Hi @RSABQ3 Thank you for taking the time to detail these concerns. We truly appreciate your long-term use of the product and understand how concerning this disruption is.

We are reviewing all community posts to ensure the concerns being shared have been communicated to our development team. At this time, we do not have an estimated timeline for when all issues will be fully resolved. We recognize that this is not the answer you’re hoping for, but we want to be transparent. As fixes are released we will update the community.

Thank you for your patience as we work to resolve these concerns.

We are having the same issue. Have you found a work around?

work arounds depend on the issues!

**bleep** GL - we have found if you try and print it from Jan-Nov, it seems to print ok, but if you add December to the mix it either error's out of says the account numbers do not exist.

Printing Payroll Journal for one employee - print all employees, sore by employee, edit and delete all except the employee you want.

Transferring between files - this does not work, I have had to re enter so much stuff it is ridiculous.

Sales journals - all 2025 deleted and are in 2026.  have to delete out of 2026 and re-enter in 2025.

bank rec errors - no work arounds.

Still waiting for updates for slow program and months that wont post.
