Has anyone heard when we'll get another update to fix some of this crap that's going wrong with EasyAcct?

I'm still getting the underlying error on rollback, now some of my clients are saying unable to access the data files & others just won't respond period. WTF INTUIT? Does anyone have any answers or workarounds to get around this crap? I HAVE to get payroll's done today & I cannot get into the data files to even begin to process it & all INTUIT can say is restore back to the 24 version & lose all of the payroll's since then...BULL***t! Anyone with any helpful info please email me ASAP so I can get these payroll's ran. I have ACH's that have to go out before 4 PM central time....HELP PLEASE!

I haven't had any problems.  What issues are you having?

After I get everything fixed & even after I downloaded the latest update some of my data files are still saying unable to access the data files for company x? Whatever company I'm trying to go into. I need to know if anyone can fix the situation because apparently Intuit isn't going to.

Intuit can log onto your computer and fix it.  You might want to go that route since this isn't a common problem.

I am having numerous problems with EASYACCT new update for 2025/2025.  An update to fix them all would be nice ASAP

Hi @nickdrake Thanks for posting in the Community and for sharing those details. We understand it’s important for the software to function smoothly, especially when payroll is involved, and how frustrating issues like this can be. There has been an updated since the second post that may help with the error. Please make sure you’re fully up to date, and if further assistance is needed, EasyACCT Support would be able to review this with you directly.

What is the version of the update that was done yesterday?

We changed over to the 2025/2026 version yesterday at our firm. It is painfully slow and the blue circle is constantly visible. It takes a long time to update the journals, you have to wait to print reports, and it has kicked us out repeatedly. Processing payroll for our clients was a nightmare. Can you please let us know if this will be fixed soon? After paying thousands of dollars for the software, I would hope that the newest version was tested thoroughly to ensure that there would not be these issues, but that doesn't seem to be the case. We spoke to Intuit and all they could say was that they are working on it.

This is frustrating and costing our firm time and money.

We are using version 2024.3.09 and the system says there are no updates available.

You need to login to mypronnect.intuit.com & download the latest version & install it over the top of that version. That should fix whether or not you see when an update is available. Also, you might want to check to see if any firewall's or virus programs are blocking the port EasyAcct uses to send down the notifications letting everyone know there is an update available. I hope this helps. Also, if you can't get into the site above, just let me know & I will email you the link to download it to save you some trouble.

Okay, I figured it out.  Unfortunately, the update is to roll over to the 2025/2026 year, but I can't do that yet since I still have payrolls to do this year in the 2024/2025 EasyAcct.  You have to wait to update until after all payrolls are done for the year or else it messes everything up.

Yes that's what these updates are trying to fix. I'm glad you found the file to download at least.

Call 12/3/25 was on phone over 1.5 hours, no fix sent copy of a file to support, someone was supposed to respond within 24 hours.  Today is Friday 12/05/25 no fix, no response, no update to correct multiple bugs including "Unable to access data".

We were told to reinstall 2024/2025, as they have no idea when a fix might be available. Wish they would not let people update until they fix all of the issues.
