You need to login to mypronnect.intuit.com & download the latest version & install it over the top of that version. That should fix whether or not you see when an update is available. Also, you might want to check to see if any firewall's or virus programs are blocking the port EasyAcct uses to send down the notifications letting everyone know there is an update available.
