With TurboTax Live, Intuit has further expanded their solution to help “do-it-yourself” consumers get their taxes reviewed or completed by connecting them to a tax expert. Tax experts can even do a full review and file TurboTax Live customer returns. How Does it Work? Tax professionals can conveniently choose the times and hours they want to work. Simply put, tax professionals can pick up hours to fit their schedule with the TurboTax on-demand virtual platform. Intuit’s technology routes the taxpayer’s question to an expert, then using one-way video and unique screen sharing functionality, experts will show and explain answers at the moment taxpayers need the most help to give them confidence about filing their taxes. Join the Team Intuit is hiring thousands of seasonal, customer-facing tax experts for the upcoming tax season. The team is looking for professionals with experiences ranging from established CPAs and enrolled agents (EAs) to practicing attorneys. New this year is a tax associate role to assist credentialed agents in assisting the preparation of 1040s. In addition to earning extra money, on a hourly basis, tax professionals can take advantage of the benefits of being a W-2 Intuit employee, such as a bonus, 401(k), training, and being a part of an online community to grow their knowledge and get support from their colleagues. Non-credentialed tax professionals are also eligible for specialist positions in the network. There are additional opportunities as a specialist to earn EA credentialing through development programs.
