April 2020 stimulus was based on 2018 return that was filed MFJ, January 2021 amount was based on 2019 MFS, on 2020 do we split the amount of stimulus between the two MFS returns? If split my client receives and extra $500 due to adding another dependent to the 2020 filing vs the 2019 filing.

For a stimulus payment based on a Joint return, 1/2 of the payment belongs to each taxpayer.
For a stimulus payment based on a MFS return, 100% of that belongs to that taxpayer.
So those are the numbers you need to use.
