I have a client that doesn't have a 1095 but he has access to veterans hospital. Is that considered an equivalent and how do I enter it on proseries?

For tax year 2019 health insurance wasnt required, you dont need to do anything...or are you asking about a prior year?

Yes. I’m filing for 2018 and 2019. So I was wondering what I need to do for 2018.

Just mark YES to the box in the Healthcare entry sheet that says they were covered all year.
