Hi,
Does anybody know what the depreciable life for land improvements is in California? I can’t seem to find the answer. I know for Fed it’s 15 years under GDS.
I want to mention that I looked at CA Rev and tax code 17250 and I didn't find anything specifically for land improvements: https://codes.findlaw.com/ca/revenue-and-taxation-code/rtc-sect-17250.html

Add a land improvement on the federal then switch over to the CA return and look at their asset entry worksheet for the improvement, scroll to the bottom and it will show you what CA allows...I believe its 15yrs as well.
