I have a potential customer that thinks they filed 2020 and 2021 taxes but wants to confirm. They thought they were owed a small refund for 2021 but never received anything. What is the most efficient way for them to confirm if they filed taxes? Call the IRS or create an account?
This is not something I am able/willing to do for the customer.
