ES Tax electronic payments from prior year not carring over to current year?

If you had a client use EFT to pay quarterly ES payments, why does the program not carry it over to next year as a payment?  This year I had to go back to the prior year to verify that EFT Voucher payments were selected and enter them to the tax return.

Any feed back on utilizing this feature of the software?

The only kind of payment that carries over automatically is a refund being applied to the next year.

Just because an estimated payment was schedule electronically, it doesnt mean it was actually paid.
