Transfer Print Order and Which Forms to Print each year

The settings for Control Which Forms to Print and the Print Order should transfer each year to the new program.  Each year I have to manually reset for Federal and States and other software like Estates/Trust.

@rsedoris could you share which products are having this issue for you? In addition, are any settings transferring for you (like Filing Copy vs Client Copy vs Preparer Copy)?

For example, I'm not able to reproduce the issue for Federal 1041 Estates & Trust. My Client Copy and Preparer Copy settings are transferring over.

Using Proseries Professional.  I am not referring to individual clients.  I am referring to the settings under Print Options, Global Print Options-Control Which Forms to Print AND Change Print Order.  I have specific forms to print and a specific order for them to appear in the PDF file. Each year I have to redo the settings.  I would like my settings to transfer to the next year program just like it does for other settings.

In the "Control Which Forms to Print" page in Print Options, do you see any settings transferred over for any return type (ie Federal Form 1040: Individual or Federal Form 1041: Estates & Trusts)?

I ask because these settings are specific to each return type, and there have been issues in the past for specific return types.

Also, there are separate settings for different print types (Filing Copy, Client Copy, Preparer Copy). Are any of these transferring over for you?

I am only concerned about the Filing Copy (I don't use the other copies) and only worried about 1040-Federal and States.  I can easily reset the Trust and Partnerships that I prepare.  The Order/Which Forms does not flow over Are you able to call me and Remote in and I can show you?

Ah ok, got it. I appreciate that, but there's no need as I can see that behavior as well.

Currently, that is working as-designed, but that's not to say we can't change that behavior. I will take this back to the team and provide any updates.

Thanks.  It has bugged me for years and is very time consuming to fix each year.  It would be great if those settings would transfer over, just like it does for the selection of which Products to download or other settings.
